AI SEO Services for London Local Businesses

Customers now ask ChatGPT, Google’s AI Mode and Siri who to call for a plumber, a dentist or a solicitor nearby. Our AI SEO services make sure the sources those assistants rely on describe your business accurately, consistently and favourably, so you’re part of the answer.
Grounded in how each assistant actually sources local information, not in shortcuts.
Where answers come from

How AI Assistants Find Local Businesses

There is no single “AI index”. Each assistant pulls local information from different places, which is why the work starts with the sources, not the assistant.
AssistantWhere its local information comes fromWhat that means for you
Google AI Overviews and AI ModeGoogle’s search index and its local business dataAn indexed website and a complete, accurate Google Business Profile
ChatGPT searchWeb search results and pages its search crawler (OAI-SearchBot) can accessA site that doesn’t block that crawler, plus consistent details across the web
Microsoft CopilotBing search and Bing PlacesA claimed, complete Bing Places listing and a site Bing can crawl
Siri and Apple MapsApple Maps data from Apple Business ConnectA claimed Apple Business Connect listing with correct details
Perplexity and other assistantsTheir own web search and the pages they citeClear, factual pages and mentions on sites they trust
Based on each provider’s published documentation. Assistants change how they source answers, so we review this regularly.

What AI Search Optimisation Isn't

Google says plainly that there are no special requirements, AI text files or schema needed to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode. A page needs to be indexed and eligible to show with a snippet, the same as normal search.
That rules out a lot of what is sold as AI SEO. What remains is real work: making your business easy to find, easy to verify and well spoken of across the sources assistants draw on.
Nobody can guarantee that an assistant will recommend you. Answers vary by person, wording and location, and providers change their systems often. What can be done is to remove the reasons you’d be left out.

What AI SEO isn't

What we work on

Five Things That Decide Whether You're Mentioned

Each one also strengthens your normal Google and Maps rankings, so none of the work is wasted if assistants change.

Crawler access

We check that your robots.txt, hosting and security settings let search crawlers in, including Googlebot, Bingbot and OAI-SearchBot. Some security settings block AI crawlers by default, quietly keeping your site out of those answers. The site-wide fixes sit with our technical SEO work.

Consistent business facts

Assistants cross-check what they find. We make sure your name, address, phone number, hours and services match across your Google Business Profile, Apple Maps, Bing Places and your other business listings. Conflicting details give an assistant a reason to pick someone else.

Pages that answer real questions

People ask assistants full questions: who covers my area, what does it cost, are they qualified, can they come today. We make sure your service and area pages answer those directly, in plain text, so they can be quoted.

Reputation sources

When asked for the best option nearby, assistants lean on what others say: reviews, local press and trusted industry sites. We strengthen the sources that describe you, rather than writing about you on your own site alone.

A clear business identity

We tie your website, profiles and listings together with consistent naming and accurate structured data, so every source points to one clearly defined business.
Measurement

Measuring AI Visibility Honestly

AI visibility is harder to measure than rankings, and anyone claiming exact numbers for every assistant is overstating it. Here’s what can be measured.
Google includes AI Overviews and AI Mode traffic in the normal Web results in Search Console. Visits from ChatGPT, Perplexity and Copilot show up as referrals in your analytics. And we regularly ask assistants the questions your customers would ask, recording whether you’re mentioned and how you’re described.

What we report on

When it's worth it

When AI SEO Makes Sense for Your Business

AI search optimisation pays off once the foundations are in place: a complete Business Profile, consistent listings, reviews and a website search engines can read. Without those, there is little for an assistant to find.
That’s why AI search visibility work is part of our Scale plan at £800 a month, alongside technical SEO fixes and digital PR, while every plan builds the foundations it depends on. Compare the plans, or see how it fits into our wider local SEO service.
FAQ

AI SEO Questions

No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Answers vary by person, wording and location. We remove the reasons you’d be left out and track how often you’re mentioned over time.

It builds on it. The same signals matter: accurate business information, reviews, a clear website and trusted mentions. AI SEO adds crawler access, answer-ready pages and checks of how assistants describe you.

Google says no special files or schema are needed for its AI features. Accurate structured data is still useful because it helps search engines understand your business, but it is not a shortcut.

That’s your choice, but blocking search crawlers such as OAI-SearchBot can keep your site out of those assistants’ answers. Training crawlers are controlled separately, so you can allow search access without allowing training.

Fixes to access and listings are picked up as assistants refresh their sources, often within weeks. Reputation and mentions build over months, in step with your wider local SEO.
